No. CapTradeAI only trades the assets you explicitly list in your Profile under Trading Pairs. If you add only ETHUSDC and XRPUSDC, the agent will never touch your BTC, SOL, or any other asset. Everything outside your configured pairs is completely ignored.
For example: if you hold BTC and just want the agent to trade ETH and XRP with a separate pool of USDC, simply list ETHUSDC, XRPUSDC, and USDC as your pairs — your BTC remains untouched.
No. CapTradeAI requires only trading permissions on your API key — never withdrawal permissions. Even if something went wrong, the agent has no technical ability to move funds off your exchange. Your assets stay in your exchange account at all times.
Yes. Your API secret is encrypted at rest using AES encryption before being stored in our database. It is only decrypted in memory during the trading cycle and never logged or exposed.
Yes. You can disable the agent instantly from your Profile. When disabled, no new trades are placed. Any open positions are left as-is on your exchange — the agent never closes positions automatically when you pause it.
CapTradeAI currently supports Binance and Crypto.com Exchange. You can select your exchange in your Profile.
Note for Crypto.com users: the API key must be created in the Crypto.com Exchange (crypto.com/exchange), not the Crypto.com App. The App does not support API trading keys.
There is no minimum enforced by CapTradeAI, but exchanges have their own minimum order sizes (typically $5–$10 per trade). We recommend starting with at least $100 so the agent has enough room to diversify across a few assets without hitting exchange minimums.

The agent runs every 5 minutes but only places a trade when multiple strategies reach consensus — a BUY or SELL requires both a minimum number of votes and a minimum combined weight. In calm or sideways markets this means it will HOLD for extended periods, which is intentional.
It runs up to 8 independent strategies simultaneously — RSI, Moving Averages, Bollinger Bands, DCA, Volume Analysis, Micro Sentiment, Macro Sentiment, and an AI model. Each strategy casts a weighted vote. A trade only executes when enough strategies agree on the same asset and direction. See How It Works for a full breakdown.
No. All available strategies run together by default. You can optionally adjust their individual weights in your Profile, or let the AI learning engine tune them automatically based on past performance.
Before every cycle, the agent classifies the current market as bull, bear, or sideways (with variations like weak_bull, strong_bear, etc.). This regime dynamically adjusts stop-loss distances, position sizes, and strategy thresholds — the agent is more aggressive in uptrends and more defensive in downtrends, without you having to do anything.
DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging) rebalances your portfolio toward target allocations — for example, selling an asset that has grown to 20% of your portfolio back toward a 10% target. Crucially, a DCA trade is only executed if at least one other independent strategy also signals the same direction. Pure portfolio math alone is never enough to trigger a trade.
No. Crypto markets are volatile and no trading system can guarantee profits. CapTradeAI is designed to make systematic, data-driven decisions — but past performance does not predict future results. Only invest what you can afford to lose.
Yes. The agent uses both fixed stop-losses and trailing stops, adjusted dynamically based on the current market regime. In bear markets, stops are tightened; in bull markets, wider stops allow positions more room to breathe.
Every trade and HOLD decision is logged with a full reasoning breakdown — which strategies voted, their weights, and why. You can view this in the Decisions page after logging in.
The free plan includes MA, RSI, DCA, Bollinger Bands, and Macro Sentiment strategies. The Pro plan adds the AI Model, Micro Sentiment, and Volume Analysis strategies — the higher-signal strategies that tend to produce the strongest trade confirmations.
Yes. You can cancel at any time from the Subscription page. Your Pro access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
